There is a booklet that comes with each box that contains activities and an overview of each box. The Anne Frank box had 8 journal inspirations for kids with 8 different prompt for writing in their journal (what if you were president, what changes would you make, what laws would you enact, Make up your own holiday, what would it be called, etc). The booklet also contains conversation starters. Please let me know if you didn't receive the booklet this month. Each month you will receive a book, a fun educational activity, a booklet with activities, postcard and collectible trading cards. We try not to add a lot of extra junk in the box.

I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed. We used to have a box that was for younger kids that came with a cape but we haven't had that series in over a year. Where did you get that information from (so we can update it)? Our current product is recommended for ages 7-11 and introduces kids to a new inspirational role model each month with a book from the Who Was book series and fun hands-on activities.
