Hi and thank you for your question. I'm not sure I fully understand your question, but One Girl Inspired is not a book subscription so we don't offer options in different genres for selection. Our boxes are curated to inspire, empower and motivate and with our different themes each month there are times when we do include books but the contents are a surprise each month. If you are looking for a specific theme with a book, you can always review the past boxes we still have in inventory and select from those. Please let me know if there are any other questions I can answer for you.
Q: What age range doers this box target? I am wanting something for an older teen (16-18) but it appears like most reviewers are buying for 11-14 y.o. Thanks. Asked by Dominique S., May 2022
Hi Dominique and thank you for your message. Our box targets teen and tween girls, but I would say the optimal age is 11-16, although we do have some older teens receiving the box as well. You can take a look at some of the photos of our boxes on the site or social media and decide if the items included would appeal to your specific teen. We like to think we are more than just a box of stuff though. We provide further content on teen topics like resiliency, self confidence, and more in each box to provide inspiration and empowerment to each girl receiving a One Girl Inspired subscription. I wanted to be excited about this gift set for my daughter but the inflated price did not match the items in the boxes. O e of the gifts for a teenage girl was a plant holder, exercise dice, and a very generic set of ear buds that were poor quality. I would not recommend and was very disappointed in the minimal items in each box.
We are sorry the subscription did not meet your expectations. We try very hard to provide quality items that fit the theme for each month, but ultimately we know the box isn't for everyone. Our recent Get Fit themed box did feature a set of sports ear buds and large exercise dice, but also featured a recently popular brand of face wash for girls as well as a sticker. The macrame plant hanger was from another box actually that went with 4 other items. We do provide information on our website that there are 4-6 items in each box. Please know that the retail value of each box's content is always above and beyond the cost of the box. We do appreciate the feedback though...

PARENTS BEWARE - Everything was great - EXCEPT - my daughter received a box of tarot cards in her box. I understand that most people are not aware, but tarot cards are dangerous and open up all sorts of potential for nasty stuff for kids and adults alike. They are certainly NOT something I want my daughter anywhere near. I'm disappointed that the box designer did not do more research on the potential dangers these cards hold. They are not the innocent play toy people think they are. I am not superstitious, I am AWARE. I will not be ordering again.

To say I was disappointed with our GirlInspired Box is an understatement. Not because the products were terrible but because the cost:product ratio was grossly unbalanced.
When shipping was added to my cost, each box cost was over $80. The contents of the box was barely worth $30.
My reaction to this disappointment was amplified because I sent the box as a gift to both my daughter as well as my niece and when I saw the contents of boxes they received I was embarrassed and apologetic for a gift I’d hoped would bring them joy and inspiration.
Definitely a mistake I will not repeat in the future.
