I have given Steel to Reel a try two times. There boxes started going down hill after I joined the first time. So I cancelled. Well that was over a year ago. They sent me a great offer to come back. My boxes were supposed to be $45 for the mid tier. My first one was and it was ok. This month they charged me $75 and didn’t even send me a box. I contacted customer service via email and they sent me a box but inside the box was garbage. I think they sent me dried dog poop. I got lip balm, a chintzy fisherman’s card, a rope fire starter, a $0.50 plastic lantern that is mini size, and the ziplock bag of dog poop. All for $75. I could have bought it all at Walmart for $5-10. So save your money and don’t buy from this company. They don’t stand behind their product. They just tell you to cancel. They have ripped you off and they move on to the next sucker. So don’t be the next sucker!!!!

I ordered a 3 month subscription from the site itself and first of all I wouldn’t tell my friends family heck even my enemies to shop there I have been doing nothing but emailing support i ordered it months ago and have gotten no where. Stick to battle box or somewhere that actually honors what they say. You will have to constantly email these guys just to get what you paid for.

customer support was great in helping me out with my order, and the box itself had some really really solid items in it that we're going to be using on outdoor adventures. I can definitely see this as being a lifesaver in a survival situation, but it's very practical for just enjoying the outdoors, camping, hiking, etc. So it's pretty good for anyone I'd say. I will probably grab another Pro box for some gifts.

We're going to be testing out some of this gear this weekend and are really excited about it! I got one box, it contained 3 items worth about a total of 8 bucks, when I tried to get a refund they said they were going to continue to send me the remaining 11 boxes and I would have to send them all back before I got any refund!
This is a deceptive policy designed to get people to keep the boxes because they don't want to hassle with sending them back every month. Boo hiss.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I've had many different subscriptions and this is the absolute worst. The items sent were no where near the amount I paid. I received an emergency blanket, bandanna, blow up camp pillow, and a billy band for $72. Those items add up to $50 at best. I researched the items online.
Also, this was a birthday gift and a 3 month subscription was purchased. They will not give me a refund even though I've only received one box. I will have to send back each box as soon as they arrive and pay for the shipping myself. Save your money and time. There are a lot better companies out there with better products.
