If you like discovering new music, this is the service for you. Every week, I listen to thousands of tracks and 100+ albums of new releases trying to find that hidden gem. Normally services like this include the same artists over and over, really bad tunes or ones that you very clearly know. But this service is the vinyl equivalent of what I do weekly. Each record has 10-12 songs on it from low profile artists that you probably haven't heard of before but that you should. Definitely a heavy focus on indie pop / rock but various other styles as well. So if you are open to music of various genres, this is for you. The packaging is spectacular and if you like colored vinyl like me, you're in for a treat. I have gotten two volumes via subscription and ordered nine more and all 11 have been very enjoyable. I hate having people pick music for me - but I'd let Vinyl Moon do it for me in a heartbeat.

I look forward to this every month. It isn't just a record, it is a whole experience. I'm not kidding. The artwork is always beautiful and they always come with little extras like postcards, art prints, jacket patches, stickers, etc. Each album is a mix of songs from artists I am usually not familiar with but end up appreciating after listening. I wish I would have found out about this sooner.

Changing my review because it was a bit confusing. Initially, I received a postcard record, kind of like the ones you used to get on the back of cereal boxes, and I thought that was the LP! Low and behold, today an actual LP arrived. I may suggest to the company that this is confusing and initially, I was very unhappy, thinking I just paid $23 for a postcard (there is another sub box that does these little postcard records for $4 a month, but they don't play on a regular turntable. I haven't listened to the album yet, but it looks pretty cool.

I have given up on waiting to receive this item, and there is no clear way to resolve the situation in this company’s website. I signed up for the vinyl of the month club in February, and it’s the end of May and I still haven’t received the first album. I cancelled the subscription because they were going to charge me for the second month before I even received the first album. They keep emailing me asking me to review my album despite not even having received it yet, so I guess this is the review they wanted.

Honestly I at first thought that this box would be so cool to get every month. But after weeks upon months of not receiving my package I have given up. It seems to me that Vinyl moon would much rather take the customers money then to acknowledge that they can not fulfill the orders in time. I’m extremely disappointed in their customer service as they have continuously blamed that their company is very small. I wish I can get a refund for my box but at this point I just want to see how long it will take for it to arrive.
